I’m Petunia and I’m a big girl ‘cause I am 4 years old. My favorite color is yellow because that is the color of my blankie and the color of corn – which is my favorite food. My friends and I love to go to the Fair because it smells good and there are so many twinkling lights! I love to hear the laughter of the children as they enjoy the day with their family. Hello sweetie! I’m Bernadette – a familiar face at the LA County Fair. Now, you may be thinking if I’m a Bernadette and not a Bernie, why do I have horns? In some breeds of cows, females have horns. I use ‘em to keep my kids in line! I’m a mommy blogger at milkermom.com. I enjoy long walks in the pasture, getting my girlfriends together for a round of Chew Cud Chew, and, like most cows, I can detect an odor from six miles away – so I always know when my hubby is heading home from work! I was born here at the Fair (#PomonaProud) and have come from a long line of Big Red Barn pigs – my Great Great Grandsow was one of the fastest racers this place has ever seen! Oh man, to have been around during those glory days…anyways, I’m getting off-topic. What do I like? I LOVE trivia – we have barn trivia every week and, not to brag, but I almost always win. I’m not a big fan of putting myself out there, I’d rather be playing Apex Legends (or Goat Simulator, but don’t tell anyone my secret love of goats!). Hmm, anything else? OH, I know, my favorite Fair food is deep-fried Oreos and my favorite neighborhood during Fair is Downtown Fairplex.
