Single Day Parking at Blue Lot Gate 9 & Yellow Lot Gate 17 :

To stream-line entry, parking will not be available for purchase online the day of your visit and must be purchased at the gate. Fairplex is a cashless venue. Parking toll lanes will accept debit or credit cards only. Admission and parking subject to online ticketing fees.

Wristbands are $50 and include 2 free games. The wristbands are valid one day only, one per person, non-transferable and non-refundable. Wristbands are for purchase on-site at the carnival ticket booths only.

Weekend

LA County Fair Policies

Smoking is not permitted in Fairplex buildings or Grandstands. Smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes, or other products that
produce a vapor or smoke are allowed only in designated smoking areas. The Fair Association does not accept money from tobacco companies for sponsorship, promotional or advertising purposes.

Located in the Security building. North side of the Grandstand by Yellow Gate.

Children and Family Services

Lost Children

Lost children should be taken to or picked up at the first floor of The Learning Centers.

Nursing Mothers

Mothers’ rooms are available on the first floor of the Grandstand and at The Learning Centers.

Changing Tables

  • Changing tables are available in Family Restrooms at every exhibit hall.
  • “Lost Children” at The Learning Centers offers changing tables with their nursing room.
  • We encourage guests to use changing tables at established locations, rather than food tables.

Adult Changing Station

Adult changing stations can be located at the First Aid Stations in Building 9 & AMR.

Gate 1 / Green Lot is closed to the public. Pedestrians should enter through Gate 3 / Red Lot adjacent to the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel.

Public Transport

Metrolink

Per a new Metrolink schedule, guests can take Metrolink to the Fair via the North Pomona Station. Trains will drop off Fair passengers at the North Station with Foothill Transit offering shuttles to Fairplex on 30-minute intervals on Fridays and 60-minute intervals on weekends. Arrow Highway is about a block south of the Metrolink North station, offering a transfer choice for Metrolink riders seeking to reach the Fairplex. There will be no train stops at the Fairplex platform.

Foothill Transit

Foothill Transit

Foothill Transit is running special late service on Line 197 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays so you can spend more time at the LA County Fair. Line 197 stops just outside the Red Gate at the White and McKinley stop.

On Fridays, Line 197 will continue hourly service until the 11 p.m from the Pomona Transit Center and Montclair Transit Center.
On Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day, Line 197 will continue hourly service until 11:30 p.m. from the Pomona Transit Center and Montclair Transit Center.

The theme of this year’s LA County Fair is “Stars, Stripes & Fun,” and we can’t wait to celebrate during our dates May 3-27.

When will tickets for the LA County Fair go on sale?
Tickets are on sale now at lacountyfair.com. The 2024 Fair will be May 3-27, open Thursdays-Sundays and Memorial Day.

Do I have to purchase my tickets in advance?
If you want the best price, purchase tickets in advance online. Tickets purchased at the gate the day of your visit will see a price increase.

Will tickets be available at the gate?
Yes, we will have a limited number of ticket booths open at the gate daily. We recommend that you please purchase your tickets online in advance for the best price and experience. Ticket prices at the gate are higher than online pricing; purchasing on your phone even at the main gate offers a lower priced ticket than purchasing at a ticket booth.

Will you be selling a season pass this year?
Yes. Visit lacountyfair.com/buy-tickets for Season Pass options.

Will you offer free or discounted admission days?
There are several ways to get discounted admission to the Fair. Visit lacountyfair.com/discounts for more information.

What About Senior Day – is there a day Seniors get in free?
Senior are eligible for discounted admission every day of the Fair.

Will Opening Day be free?
Opening day will not be free, but we will have special $10 admission. Check out more ways to save at on Fair admission at lacountyfair.com/discounts.

Will there be City Days at the Fair?
Pomona Day is May 9 and La Verne Day is May 10. Check lacountyfair.com/resident-days for discount admission for residents of each city.

Will you offer any food promotions?

Will you have unlimited ride wristbands or have ride discounts?

When will the concert series be announced?

Does my concert ticket include Fair admission?
Yes. Your concert ticket includes admission unless you purchase concert tickets at the Fair on the same day of your concert. Parking is not included.

Will there be free tickets available to the concerts?
Limited tickets available to select concerts. Tickets are dispersed on a first come first serve basis at the Rose Lane ticket booth beginning at 2pm day of the concert.

Is the Fair offering field trips?
The FairKids Field Trip program is offering limited reservations. Visit www.lacountyfair.com/fairkids for more information.

Will you have the FairStars program this year?
Yes! Our FairStars program, a quiet day at the Fair for children and adults with sensory sensitivities, will be held on Thursday, May 16. Sounds and lights will be dimmed or turned off from 9 – 11 a.m. for field trips, and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the general public. After that time, sounds and lights will return to their standard volume.

Additionally, the LA County Fair is a certified KultureCity Sensory Inclusive Venue. We offer sensory bags for children and adults filled with items that can help lessen sensory overload. These can be checked-out from any of our Guest Relations Booths any operating day of Fair. For more information about KultureCity, please visit here.

Do I need to present my ID with my season pass?
Yes, every season pass holder ages 16+ must present valid ID that matches the name on their season pass for entry into the Fair.

Refund policy?
When purchasing tickets online, the user agrees to no refunds, no exchanges, however, the ticket you purchased is valid multiple days and is transferable. Season Passes are nontransferable.

What are your parking options and pricing?

Any parking restrictions? (No RVs, etc.)
RV Parking is located in the Main Lot of Gate 17 for $40.

Where can I be dropped off if not looking to park on campus? Rideshare/Uber drop-off location
Ride Share is located at Gate 7 on White Avenue.

Can I bring a small cooler, outside food, or beverages?
We allow coolers 12”x18” or smaller. Outside food is allowed but no glass, metal or hard plastic containers. No outside beverages are permitted. Empty, reusable plastic and metal water bottles (aka: Hydro Flasks) smaller than 32 oz. are permitted at the event. See more on our Prohibited Items Policy list here.

Are backpacks, clear purses or handbags permitted?
Yes, all three are permitted.

Will you be hosting a job fair for LACF 2023? Where can I apply?
Yes, the 2024 LA County Fair Job Fairs will be taking place on March 16 and April 6 in the Blue Gate lot. Visit lacountyfair.com/about for job openings.

How can I find out if my favorite vendor will participate again this year? If they’re not participating, who can help me get their contact information?
The commercial vendor list will be available on our website, lacountyfair.com. Keep checking back as the list gets updated.

Do you have bicycle racks?
Yes, there are bicycle racks located at Red Gate.

Do you have electric vehicle charging stations?
Yes, we have vehicle charging stations at Gate 17 and at the Sheraton Conference Center at Gate 3.

Do children get in free to the Mother’s Day event?
All children who will have their own seat must pay the full ticket price. There is no reduced rate for children.

Do you have to buy a concert ticket for children?
Children ages 2 and younger who do not require a seat are not required to have a ticket. They must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap the entire show. Strollers and child carriers are not allowed inside the concert venue.
