Join CEEM on September 7th, 8th, and 9th for a weekend of community and celebration of African American art, history, and culture. CEEM will feature live music performances, unique vendors, interactive kid-zone, delicious BBQ, and featured exhibit that will dive into the history of African-Americans who journeyed along Route 66 to Los Angeles. CEEM (Cooperative Economic Empowerment Movement) is a membership cooperative dedicated to creating wealth for African-Americans.

LA County Library DJ Lab

Meet students from LA County Library ‘Turns the Tables’ DJ program at the L.A. County Day @ the Fair, Sunday, September 2. The students from the program will talk about the program at the LA County Library booth and showcase their DJ skills at Mi Poco LA, located at the gallery patio. The Turns the Tables series is a free beginner’s 10-week DJ course for young adults ages 15-21. Students learn DJ skills and business skills, gained hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment, and perform in a showcase concert as a celebration of their achievements.

Route 66 IECA

The Cucamonga Service Station, is the last station reminiscent of the roadside architecture of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s, some of which still exists today in Rancho Cucamonga.
The current owner and property restorer is the Route 66 Inland Empire California (IECA) non-profit organization.Since being designated a historical site in 2009, by the city of Rancho Cucamonga, Route 66 IECA has been restoring the Service Station to what it looked like in 1915. It is a community effort with many volunteers helping in many ways, helping to restore this iconic piece of Cucamonga history.
